Leader of the Opposition, Subhendu Adhikari, has weighed in on the investigation surrounding Abhishek Banerjee's helicopter, labeling it as a routine procedure conducted by both the Income Tax Department and the Election Commission.

 Subhendu Adhikari said, "The investigation of Abhishek Banerjee's helicopter is a normal process of IT and Election Commission. Be it the Chief Minister or anyone else, everyone will have to go through this investigation."

His remarks come amidst allegations from the Trinamool Congress (TMC) that the investigation is politically motivated, designed to intimidate opposition candidates during the ongoing election campaign.

Adhikari's assertion aims to neutralize the controversy surrounding the investigation, positioning it as a regular administrative process rather than a targeted attack.
